Karen Zuidema, D.Ac, L.Ac, has been practicing Acupuncture and holistic medicine for more than 30 years. She is a Doctor of Acupuncture, Licensed acupuncturist in the state of NY and NJ, and NCCAOM Board-Certified.
Dr. Zuidema received her degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the College of Natural Medicine, a Ph.D. with honors in Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences, a Master’s in acupuncture from the Eastern School of Acupuncture, a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine specializing in Reproductive Health from the College of Alternative Medicine and completed a Research Doctorate in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science.
Dr Zuidema offers an integrative and functional approach to helping patients achieve wellness with a focus on pain management, musculoskeletal disorders, women’s health and fertility. She is the author of a book called “Believe and Conceive” which is a guide to help enhance fertility.
She loves showing up at the clinic and working alongside an amazing group of health care providers and staff who are passionate about making a positive difference in patients’ lives.
When she is not practicing acupuncture, Dr Z enjoys cooking new and old recipes, spending time outdoors with her 2 sons and 2 dogs and traveling with family and friends.
