Dr. Tyron R. Thompson

Dr. Tyron R. Thompson is a Board-Certified Sports Chiropractor. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Bridgeport with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. During his time in graduate school, Dr. Thompson gained extensive experience through rigorous clinical rotations at Community Health Centers and Veterans Hospitals, where he honed his skills in patient care. Additional honors bestowed upon him during his graduate training was an award for clinical excellence.

Following graduation, Dr. Thompson completed specialized training and received board certification from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. In practice he focuses on diagnosing, treating, and reducing conditions associated with the neuromusculoskeletal system, with a commitment to improving each patient’s functionality, resilience, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Thompson treats a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, lumbar radiculopathy, sciatica, and neck pain. He combines advanced soft tissue techniques, evidence-based active care protocols, and spinal manipulation to provide comprehensive patient-centered care. His goal is to not only alleviate pain but also enhance long-term health and performance.

Dr. Thompson finds the most fulfilling part of being a chiropractor is empowering patients to become their biggest advocates when it comes to their health. One of his primary goals is to help patients understand that the pain experience is vast and rarely linear. He emphasizes the importance of promoting patient independence and consistently reminds patients that their bodies and minds are strong and resilient—a vital part of the recovery process. Additionally, he reminds patients, “We are in this together”, reflecting his deep commitment to fostering collaborative, supportive relationships with those under his care.
